Mechanical
Service Engineer
As
a member of our Facilities Management Team you will be responsible
for the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance services for a
number of individual customers, on several sites throughout the region.
You will also liaise closely with the facilities manager and helpdesk.
As
a candidate for this position, you should have been operating a similar
position for the last 5 years. You must have first class knowledge
of
mechanical services, with proven experience in all aspects of asset
maintenance including material ordering and repairs. The ability to
schedule work
and operate in a safe working environment is essential to this role.
As
well as proving suitable qualifications for the position, any successful
candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:-
- Represent
the company professionally in all aspects of the role.
- Work with minimal
instruction from team members
- Ability to operate
hand held IT equipment.
- Ability to communicate
with team members.
- The ability to
work to a schedule and react to call outs.
- The ability to
work without supervision and to tight timescales.
- The ability to
manage resource levels.
- An understanding
of life cycle costing.
