Mechanical
Contracts Engineer
As
a member of our Building Services Team you will be responsible for
managing a diverse range of projects, liaising closely with the design
team. This role requires close liaison with our external customers,
our operatives and our supply chain members. You will also responsible
for the commercial aspects of the project such as monthly valuations,
cash flow, final account preparation and accounting reconciliations.
As
a candidate for this position, you should have been operating a similar
position for the last 5 years. You must be a first class communicator,
with proven experience in all aspects of mechanical building services
installations. The ability to manage members of your team is essential
to this role.
As
well as proving suitable qualifications for the position, any successful
candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:-
- Represent
the company professionally within external meetings.
- Co-ordinate
installations with other trades.
- Ability
to influence the design.
- Ability
to manage team members.
- Understanding
of commercial procedures.
- The
ability to work within a project team.
- The
ability to work without supervision and to tight timescales
