"As we mark one year since the handover of The Fabric Works, I just wanted to send a quick email to say a genuine thank you to everyone who has contributed to the building and its journey over the past year. The fabric works has now been home to many students, and it’s great to see the building being used and enjoyed.

I also wanted to highlight that the support didn’t stop at handover. The aftercare throughout the first year has been exceptional and genuinely appreciated. Whether it was a Sunday evening, a Bank Holiday or an unexpected issue, the phone was always answered and every effort was made to investigate and resolve things as quickly as possible. Also a special thank you to Jamie and Matt from Wheatley's – I genuinely don’t think I could have survived the first year without you both! Your support and willingness to help whenever needed has been invaluable.

The building has definitely set a benchmark of student accommodations in the city and continues to have a wow factor.

As we now get closer to concluding the defects list, I wanted to recognise the work and continued support and say it was very much appreciated from myself, the team and the students, here’s to many more successful years ahead! "
