Renewable energy solutions also form a key part in the design for all buildings in order to meet the new building regulations. Wheatleys carry out full thermal modelling using some or all of the above renewables.At Wheatleys we firmly believe in the benefits of sound project planning and design. It is vital that renewable energy installations are capable of delivering the levels of energy required to effectively serve a property and this is only achievable through detailed initial analysis and design.
At the outset of a project Wheatleys will conduct a thorough survey process. This will include an infrastructure survey of existing energy use and consultation with the District Network Operator for connection of electricity generating equipment to the National Grid.
Following the initial site survey Wheatleys will provide clients with a detailed design for a proposed system, budget costings for the installation, product information and projected data of system performance and energy saving capabilities.
Upon instruction to produce an installation Wheatleys will secure all the necessary statutory consents prior to starting on site, will use the highest quality components and accredited labour and ensure the installation is commissioned and certified to receive FIT* and RHI** payments.
